Our day was so special, thanks to all of you! We couldn't be more grateful!
Thomas and Dawn met in middle school and were in the same friend group. In high school they would catch up in the hall between classes. When Dawn switched schools, they were out of touch until they ran into one another on campus at Rollins College and rekindled their friendship.
Thomas proposed to Dawn in January of 2023. He asked Dawn’s family back in December and somehow everyone managed to keep the secret through the holidays.
The morning of the proposal, Thomas and Dawn retraced the steps of their first date on campus at Rollins. Dawn thought it was just a walk down memory lane but when they stopped in front of Dawn’s sorority house, Thomas got down on one knee and asked Dawn to be his wife.

The ceremony will be held in the Sanctuary at the First United Methodist Church Winter Garden, (125 N Lakeview Ave. Winter Garden, FL 34787). Click here to view a map of the church campus. The cocktail hour and reception will be held at New York Beer Project (9230 Miley Drive, Winter Garden, FL 34787). The ceremony will be at 3:00 pm followed by a cocktail hour with lite bites at 5:00 pm, and reception dinner/dancing/and of course cake starting at 6:00 pm.
Yes, please be on the lookout for a formal invitation coming to a mailbox near you soon.
We recommend arriving no more than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. There's plenty of on-site parking and seating for all. The venue is also wheelchair accessible.
We're going formal, suit/tie, dress, or pant suit suggested.
Your formal invitation will indicate how many seats we've reserved for you. If you need to request additional seats, please let us know as soon as possible. Due to space limitations at the reception venue we may not be able to accommodate all requests.
